The Smith Nephew 400 40-Liter Insufflator is the only insufflator with TAP* that delivers warmed humidified CO 2 gas during laparoscopic surgery without an external control unit. The Smith Nephew 400 40-Liter Insufflator is the only insufflator with TAP* that delivers warmed humidified CO 2 gas during laparoscopic surgery without an external control unit. Warmed and humidified insufflation gas is delivered through a unique in-line mechanism in close proximity to the patient for maximum effectiveness. In addition, the Smith Nephew 400 Insufflator incorporates a safety feature that prevents inadvertent changes in gas flow rate and abdominal pressure during the procedure. If your operating room is equipped with a Digital OR System, the Smith Nephew 400 Insufflator can be HERMES* voice and HERMES Pendant* controlled through the optional external EDAM module.
